Tool time in Urbana for bridal store
owner By Julie Wurth, News-Gazette Wednesday January 2,
2008
URBANA - Michele Schweighart has never put up drywall,
installed flooring or fixed a faucet. Heck, she's never even used a
hammer.
Lacy gowns, frilly dresses, sparkling accessories -
that's more her style.
But the owner of Michele's Bridal is
getting her tool belt ready to help build the next Habitat for
Humanity home in Urbana. It will be Habitat's third Women Build
home, with fundraising and construction led by women. [Rest of the
article here.]
