TTY (217) 352-0160. First Call for Help provides information about community resources, and referral and advocacy for those needing services from other agencies, as well as assessment of client needs for other agencies upon their request and coordination of charitable donations. It also provides limited emergency assistance when available to qualifying individuals, including referral to food pantries, rent, utility bill and prescription medication assistance.

Since 1993, Homestead Corporation has provided dozens of families and single residents with reasonably-priced, well-maintained homes through our housing programs, and we continue to explore new ways to meet the diverse and ongoing housing needs of area residents.
