Here are some of our local partners in Champaign. We all work together to provide for those in the community who are in need. Please help all of us to provide for those who cannot:
- Benchmark Computers
At 1403 E. Washington in Urbana, they accept electronics and monitors for a $7.00 fee. Please call (217) 367-9716 for more details.
- Center for Women in Transition
The center sits at 508 E Church St. in Champaign and can be reached at (217) 352-7151. They gladly accept toiletries for women/children, health/beauty products, office supplies, food, kitchen items, and landscaping supplies.
- D's Appliances
Found at 108 E. University in Champaign, their phone number is (217) 352-3438. They accept working and non-working appliances, offering a $20 pick-up service. Please all ahead.
- Mack's Twin City Recycling
There are two locations in Urbana to help you:Twin City Recycling 2808 N Lincoln Ave. (217) 328-2100 This location recycles computers, ferrous and non-ferrous metal recycling, cardboard recycling and buys old vehicles. Mack's Auto Recycling 1309 E Kerr (217) 367-6219 This location takes used auto and truck parts and buys old vehicles.
- Marco Steel
Located at 302 S. Market St. in Champaign, their phone number is (217) 352-4707 and they accept scrap metal and appliances without Freon.
- Preservation and Conservation Association (PACA)
The PACA is located at 105 S. Walnut St. in Champaign and can be contacted at (217) 359-7222. They accept architectural details and building materials from the early 1900's.
- Salvation Army

- TIMES Center
This center at 70 E Washington in Champaign can be reached at (217) 239-4637 and gives aid to the homeless male community. They accept men's clothes, sheets, blankets, toiletries, books and food.
- Empty Tomb
A Christian-based resource center for those in need. They accept clothes, furniture, and household items at their center at 301 N 4th St in Champaign. Please give them a call: (217)-2262.
- Restoration Urban Ministries
A Christian organization offering aid to individuals and families in need, they accept in-season clothing, food/household items and cleaning supplies. Their center is located at 1213 Parkland Ct. in Champaign and can be reached at (217)355-2662.
- The I.D.E.A. Store
You can find them on the 2nd floor of 28 E. Springfield Ave. in Champaign. There is not a whole lot they WON'T take, but it doesn't hurt to call first to be sure: (217)352-7878.
- Salt and Light
Located at 1512 W. Anthony Dr. in Champaign, this Christian organization accepts clothes, household items, and some furniture. Give them a call at (217) 355-5654.
- Goodwill
A local charity that accepts donations of clothes and household items. They can be found at 912 W Anthony Dr in Champaign and can be reached at (217) 359-9729.
