| Treasures at the ReStore |
| |
Our
ReStore receives about 3 box trucks full of materials EVERY day! A
small army of staff and volunteers price countless pieces of furniture,
household goods, appliances, and building materials before they go out
on the floor. We base our prices on the quality, condition, and age of
the item, but also the demand for the item in the store and how many
others of that particular item we have. If something has been here over
a week, then we mark them down on Tuesdays before opening. With
so many talented hands, hearts and eyes, we work to keep prices
affordable while raising money for Habitat for Humanity.

Group is sponsoring their seventh annual housing fair. Habitat is
participating with a booth while community members learn about home
maintenance, credit and how to buy a house. There's no place like home! |
