Volunteer

Habitat for Humanity of Champaign County is a volunteer-driven organization. We welcome people from all walks of life to join us as we build relationships and strengthen community through the construction of new homes with qualified low income families. Though the vast majority have no construction experience or building skills, volunteers are involved in most phases of construction. By working side-by-side with the family who will live in the house, our volunteers experience for themselves the joy created when a family is able to realize their dream of home ownership.

We are building at 1405 W. Beslin, Urbana this summer.  No experience necessary... just come and join the fun!
Build Dates are Thursdays and Saturdays starting June 3rd

LADIES   - The Women Build Committee raised $35,000 toward this build, so there are some days reserved just for ladies.  Please read the notice on Volunteer Up when you click through and follow the directions to becoming a Women Build Volunteer at the bottom of your profile.  This will allow you to sign up for both "OPEN" days and "Ladies Only" days.

RESTORE VOLUNTEERS
There is always lots to do at the ReStore!  Volunteers check in donations, help customers, stock the store and more.  The ReStore is a major contributor to Habitat's effors and also keeps over 200 tons of material out of local landfills every year.  ReStore volunteers must come to an orientation and then can volunteer whenever the store is open.  Click here for more information.
